Neighborhood Council committee to discuss fence height rules for Venice

The VNC Fences and Hedges Ad Hoc Committee is scheduled to meet this Wednesday July 16 at 7pm, at Oakwood Rec. Center, at the corner of 7th and California. All Venice stakeholders are welcome and participation is encouraged.

The legal height limit for frontyard fences and hedges is 42". This is ignored by many, and enforcement is spotty at best. What changes, if any, should the council make? This committee has been mandated to listen to the residents and come up with a set of recommendations.

Egads! At least it's not a standing committee. I am having trouble generating a more ridiculous committee for humorous effect. Parody is essentially meaningless.
The Committee for Review of the Effect of Sunlight
Public Trash Can Emptying Scheduling Committee
Oversight Committee for the Review of Squirrel and Rat Sightings
